Real vs CSK Moscow, Madrid vice-captain, Marcelo has aired out a reason why Isco rejected captain band during last Champions League game.
Madrid were trashed to a 3-0 defeat at their home Santiago Bernabeu by CSK Moscow with a goals from Fyodor Chalov, Georgi Shchennikov and Arnor Sigurdsson.
Marcelo, who attempted to pass on the captaincy armband to Isco after he was substituted, said the midfielder told him to give it to Dani Carvajal.
“I tried to give the armband to Isco and he told me that I had to give it to Carvajal, why I do not know,” Marca reports.
