Liverpool has secured a 4 points gap at table top after Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 victory

The Reds will be top of the Premier League over the Christmas period, after beating Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-0 on Friday night.

Mohammed Salah and Virgil van Dijk’s goals for the Reds as added three whooping points to Jurgen’s Klopp side at the Molineux.

The victory also moves the Reds four points clear of Manchester City, who will play Crystal Palace on Saturday.

In the previous 10 Premier League seasons, the side top at Christmas has won the title eight times.

However, the previous two occasions in which Liverpool have been top on December 25, has seen the Reds lose out in May.
