Liverpool legend, Jamie Carragher has tipped Manchester City as the favourites club that can win this season’s Premier League title.
Carragher said this after City defeated Liverpool 2-1 in the Premier League encounter at Etihad last night.
The ex-defender believes Guardiola’s side are the “best team” in the Premier League.
“Looking at it now – four points difference between Liverpool and Man City. I think we’ve probably said since the start of the season that City are the best team in this league,” Jamie Carragher told Sky Sports.
“I think the Premier League title is maybe 50/50, maybe slightly in City’s favourites, they will fancy their chances.”
Manchester City will take on Wolves in their next Premier League fixture on Monday, while Liverpool will face Brighton and Hove Albion on Saturday.
Meanwhile City are currently 4 points behind league leaders, Liverpool on the table.
