French league one side, AS Monaco FC are currently on a move to suspend first-team coach Thierry Henry while they make a final decision on his future with the club.

Thierry Henry who  has played both for his country France, Arsenal and Barcelona as a striker replaced sacked Leonardo Jardim on October 13, signing a deal until June 2021.

The 41-year-old, who started his professional career at the principality club, has only helped Monaco win two of 12 league games while losing 5-1 to Strasbourg at home on Saturday.

The 2017 French champions,Monaco who were runners-up last season are now standing second at the bottom with three points adrift of safety.

Cesc Fabregas, Naldo, Fode Toure and Lyle Foster just joined Monaco this month, but are already knocked out of the Coupe de France on Tuesday night after losing 3-1 to Ligue 2 Metzat home.

This has piloted a decision that assistant coach Franck Passi will take charge of training on Friday as Henry goes on suspension.
