Championship promotion hopefuls, West Brom have joined the race to sign midfielder Stefan Johansen from Fulham this month.
Stefan Johansen ,28 appeared in all 48 games helping Fulham gain promotion from the Championship last term, starting 46 times, but has struggled to earn a regular game in the Premier League.
Slavisa Jokanovic and Claudio Ranieri have both left the Norwegian out in the cold and he looks destined to depart this month. With just four Premier League starts under his belt the midfielder is understood to be keen on a move away from Craven Cottage.
However, Fenerbahce were reportedly linked with the Fulham midfielder earlier this week but it seems West Brom may land him as they made enquiry about him. Darren Moore believes Johansen’s experience in a promotion race could prove key in the second half of the campaign.
