Man U faces UEFA charge over fans Assault on Di Maria

Manchester United are reportedly facing an assault charge by UEFA after their supporters threw a bottle of beer at Paris Saint-Germain’s Angel Di Maria during their Champions League clash at Old Trafford on Tuesday Night.

Di Maria who once played for United during the 2014-15 season was jeered by the home supporters right from the start of the game.

He made his first visit to Old Trafford since leaving for France in 2015 setting up both PSG goals as they end Ole Gunnar’s united unbeaten run with a 2-0 win.
