Real Madrid receives boost as Karim Benzema is reportedly fit to face Girona on Sunday after sustaining injury in thier last game against Ajax on Wednesday.
The Frenchman has been a part of Madrid 18 XI of the last 19 games and have come through a tough spell of fixtures, a decision could be made to prioritise the end of February and early part of March. That is because Los Blancos will face Barcelona in back-to-back matches in the Copa del Rey and LaLiga Santander respectively, before playing their second leg in the Champions League against Ajax.
The 31-year-old is keen to feature against Girona and is better off with Vinicius Junior hoping to provide best of games against the opposition defenses.
However, Madrid having just one game in the space of a week, may decide to give Benzema an opportunity to continue improving on his rich vein of form.
