Chelsea boss, Maurizio Sarri has shifted a blame game on his men following their 2-0 defeat by Manchester United in their FA Cup game played on Monday night.
Ander Herrera scored an opener before Paul Pogba added another to hand the visiting team a 2-0 victory over Maurizio Sarri’s side at Stamford Bridge.
However, Sarri has rain a blame on his players for playing what he termed “‘confused” football
“Speaking during a post match interview Sarri said ”I think that, with the result, we were unlucky,”
”In the first half we played better than the opponent and, at the end of the first half, it was 2-0 to them.
”Then in the second half, it was really very difficult to play because they are a really physical team and defended very low, compact.
”So we played confused football in the second half. But, in the first half, we played well.
”We need, of course, more aggression, more determination in the situation inside our box, and inside the opposing box.”
The blues will be back in action against Malmo in the UEFA Europa League round of 32 second-leg tie on Thursday night.
