Everton have now joined the race to sign Sporting star, and captain Bruno Fernandes.
Fernandes had been linked with a move to Anfield but reports in the Portuguese press now suggest that Everton have also joined the race with the Reds to seek his service.
Everton are already linked to most top Portuguese players because of manager Marco Silva and a battle between the Merseyside giants could be on the cards.
Bruno Fernandes, 24 has impressed in a Sporting side who is struggling to live up to expectations this season, he will not be out of offers.
Sporting are ready to cash in during the summer and are hoping a bidding war will begin to help push up the price for the young talent.
His current contract will end 2023 with a 100million euros release clause in his contract.
But due to Sporting’s financial problems and needs to sell, they are likely to accept much less.
