Atletico Madrid Boss, Diego Simeone, has claimed his side will suffer when they return to action in the second leg of the Champions League game against Juventus.
Jose Maria Gimenez and Diego Godin handed the LaLiga side a 2-0 victory over Juve at the Wanda Metropolitano after they resumed for second half.
Atletico has never lost out in the knockouts in Simeone’s eight years reign, but the Argentine in an after-match press conference said nobody was talking about the quarter-finals yet.
“The tie is not over yet, there is still a game to play.
“For sure we will have to suffer against a great opponent, with great players.
”We played a very strong game as a team, could take the play to where we feel most comfortable. As the minutes passed we felt stronger, were making chances, and took two to get the victory against a very strong opponent.
”For sure we will have to suffer in Turin” Diego Simeone added
