Kane score injury return goal as Burnley dent spurs title hope.

Harry Kane has made an injury return registration netting the only goal for Tottenham in their surprise 2-1 defeat at Burnley, which has tamed their Premier League title hopes.

Burnley striker Chris Wood made a good head-in from a Dwight McNeil corner to give them a lead in the 57th minute.

Eight minutes later Kane, playing his first game since he suffered an ankle injury on Jan. 13, ran on to a quick throw-in from Danny Rose and slipped the ball past Tom Heaton to hand spurs a good chance.

But for third-placed Spurs, who trail leaders Manchester City and Liverpool by five points, Ashley Barnes’ 83rd minute goal for totally collapsed their hopes.
