Everton defender, Matthew Pennington has been attracting attentions from Derby which are currently keeping a close eye to consider a summer move for him.
Matthew Pennington, 24 graduated from Everton’s academy making seven Premier League appearances for the senior side with just one goal is currently on-loan with struggling Championship outfit Ipswich.
His Previous loan stay at Leeds, Walsall, Coventry and Tranmere have helped Pennington to continue his development away from Goodison Park.
However, it appears that Derby attempted to snatch Pennington away from Ipswich to take him on loan in January, but Frank Lampard admitted it was “too late” when they made contact on transfer deadline day.
But Reports has said that Lampard still has interest in the central defender and Derby could return for his services at the end of the season.
