UK Sun reports, that Manchester Star man, Paul Pogba is  on his way to picking Manchester United’s captaincy after this season.

Before his fall out with former Manager, Jose Mourinho, the France midfielder was handed armband at the beginning of the season, but when dispute set in, Mourinho stripped him off the vice-captaincy role in September.

It is now believed that since Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is about taking over permanently and Antonio Valencia leaving Old Trafford, Pogba is set to be United’s captaincy.

However, Ashley Young has frequently skippered United in Valencia’s absence, but Solskjaer acknowledged Pogba’s potential for the position earlier this season.

“You can see what winning the World Cup meant to him, so for me, yes, Pogba’s captain material,” the Norwegian said.
