Serge Gnabry signs new contract at Bayern Munich

German champions, Bayern Munich has made available a confirmation of three-year contract extension with Serge Gnabry to keep him at the club until 2023.

Serge Gnabry 23, spent last season on loan at Hoffenheim after joining Bayern enjoying a fine first campaign in Munich with six league goals and two assist.

In a report published by the club’s sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, the 23 year old is a cherished asset in Bayern Squad.

“Serge is one of our young, wild ones and an important part of the future FC Bayern,

“We are convinced that we will have a lot of fun in the future with him.”

Gnabry has quickly earned a starting spot for his skills with fellow wingers Arjen Robben, Franck Ribery and Kingsley Coman struggling due to injuries.

He scored in the 5-1 demolition of Borussia Moenchengladbach on Saturday to see Bayern follow Borussia Dortmund at the top of the Bundesliga table.

“On a sporting level it is all going very well for me but I know I have a bigger potential and need to develop further,” He said
