PSG boss Thomas Tuchel, has described the decision Ref Damir Skomina after VAR review as being “cruel decision” against them, but admits he is a big supporter of the use of Video Assistant Referee (VAR).
PSG got axed off the Champions League, after suffering a 3-1 loss at home to United with a 3-3 aggregate draw.
Marcus Rashford converted a VAR review led by Presnel Kimpembe being penalised for a handbal to Tuchel’s men exit.
”It was a big decision, a cruel decision… but it’s difficult. There are reasons he can give the decision. It’s always soft facts with hands.
”The shot is not a big, big chance. It’s wide, then suddenly it’s a penalty, Thomas Tuchel said in press conference after the match.
