United forward, Marcus Rashford has reacted to side’s 3-1 away victory over Paris Saint-Germain at Parc des Princes.
Romelu Lukaku’s brace and a strike from Marcus Rashford gave Manchester United a edge as they axed PSG out of the Champions League.
Juan Bernat Velasco scored for the host PSG at the Parc des Princes Stadium increasing their aggregate to equal United’s but were beatten off by away goal advantage .
Rashford was quoted by Man United’s official website as saying; ”Before taking the penalty, I was just thinking: keep a cool head, you know?”
”They are the type of things you practice every day.
”I wanted to take it, and probably other people on the pitch [did] as well, but it doesn’t matter because we’ve progressed to the next round!
”That’s probably the hardest thing – the wait before [the penalty], but it’s all part of the game.
”Those moments, that’s what we live for. You want to get through those moments and be smiling after.”
United returns to action this weekend against Arsenal in their premier League fixtures
