Odion Ighalo has now scored for Manchester United in all his three appearances, equaling the record for the club set by Romelu Lukaku.
Ighalo scored his fourth Red Devils goal in Thursday night’s 5-0 win over LASK in the Europa League.
The 30-year-old started the game in Austria, following injury to Anthony Martial.
He repaid Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s faith, by putting United ahead in the 28th minute with a wonder goal.
Ighalo controlled Bruno Fernandes’ pass with a few neat touches, before firing high into the net past goalkeeper Alexander Schlager.
The Nigerian striker then provided an assist for Daniel James to make it 2-0.
Juan Mata, Mason Greenwood and Andreas Pereira all scored too, as Solskjaer’s men took a big step towards the quarter-finals.
