Holebas urges FA to crown Liverpool champions, Void season

Watford player, Jose Holebas has told the Football Association in England to award the 2019/20 Premier League title to Liverpool and void the season.

The 35-year-old insists that it makes no sense to keep rescheduling the current campaign, and Jurgen Klopp’s men are clear champions.

Liverpool is 25 points ahead of second-place Manchester City with nine matches remaining before the Premier League was suspended indefinitely due to the spread of COVID-19 (Coronavirus) across the world.

“In my opinion, you have to cancel the season, for me that is pretty clear,” Holebas said in an interview with Sky Sports.

“I would give Liverpool the Premier League title because they deserve it and have played incredible football this season.

“They are the number one team in England. I think it makes no sense to keep rescheduling matches all the time,” he said.
