Following the Bianconeri Series A 3-3 draw with Sassuolo on Wednesday night, Juventus boss Maurizio Sarri blamed his team mates, including Cristiano Ronaldo.
Sarri said Juventus struggled against Sassuolo to maintain physical and mental consistency, adding they experienced ups and downs against the host during the encounter.
After goals from Filip Duricic, Domenico Beraardi, Francesco Caputo, Danio Gonzalo Higuain and Alex Sandro, Sarri ‘s men struggled to beat Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium, meaning both teams got one point each.
The result against Sassuolo ensures that Juventus is seven points clear of second position, Atalanta, on top of the Series A table.
“We fail to preserve consistency between the physical and the emotional. It’s hard to understand why we have very strong moments of passivity and others, “Reuters quoted Sarri as saying at his post-match.
“It’s difficult to understand, even allowing for the fact that we are meeting teams who are in extraordinary form. We have the feeling of ups and downs during the game.”
Juventus’ next Serie A fixture is against Lazio on Monday.
