How Klopp reacted to his side’s 2-1 win over Spurs

Jurgen Klopp has rain praises on his team after for emerging winner in their premier League tie on Sunday beating Tottenham to 2-1 at Anfield.

It was their first game after the international break with the Reds keeping focus on win to keep pace with Manchester City in the Premier League title fight.

Roberto Firmino opened the scoreline with a fine  header from Andrew Robertson’s cross in the 16th minute to put the hot blood on.

Luckily for the visitors in the 70th minute  Lucas Moura latched onto a Christian Eriksen cross making a cool conversion of level grounds for Pochettino’s side.

Liverpool got stricken with fear before Toby Alderweireld scored a own goal late in the 90th minute  courtesy of goalkeeper Hugo Lloris error giving Liverpool a return ticket back to the top of  table with three points above die hard contenders Manchester City.

Speaking to Sky Sport on the victory ,Klopp has praised his men saying;

”We compete with the best team in the world [Manchester City] and play against one of best in the world in Tottenham – it is a tough task.

”City last year were champions and are still pretty good.

”We have to fight like crazy,

”The crowd was outstanding,

”They were really here to push us and at the end it helped,

”It is only positive,

”I said there are 500 ways to win a football game and today was slightly ugly,

”Who cares? ‘We compete with the best team in world for one position and that is really hard
