Leicester City boss, Brendan Rodgers, has revealed that three of his key players have been in isolation after showing symptoms of coronavirus.
Rodgers, who refused to mention the names of the players, said this on Thursday ahead of the Foxes’ Premier League clash with Watford on Saturday.
According to him, the players have been kept away from the rest of the squad.
This is coming less than 24 hours Juventus star, Daniele Rugani tested positive to coronavirus.
“We had a few players [three] that have shown [symptoms and signs of coronavirus],” Rodgers said as quoted by BBC Sport.
“It would be a shame if our game against Watford is postponed, but the public’s health is the most important in all of this.
“The game is all about the players and the supporters and if you have one of those not there then it is obviously not the same.”
