Manchester United’s assistant coach and former club midfielder, Mike Phelan,may quit his stay at Old Trafford as he is more concerned about the structure behind the scenes,according to Daily Mail.

Mike Phelan worked with Sir Alex Ferguson for a decade, before the Scot’s retirement.

When Manchester united offered Solskjaer job,his first call was to Phelan and the 56-year-old has proved pivotal in restoring the mindset lost at Old Trafford.

But it is understood that he is more concerned about the club’s convoluted management structure and feels there’s a muddled approach to their recruitment system which is believed to be the reason he has not penned down a deal yet.
