Chelsea set to sign £34.5m Brazilian, Bruno Guimaraes.
As they keep hope to escape their pending transfer ban Chelsea are exploring the possibility of signing Brazilian midfielder Bruno Guimaraes this summer a transfer sum of £34.5m.
Guimaraes is currently at holding and has been outstanding for Athletico Paranaense this season and is tipped to earn a call-up to the national side.
The 21-year-old Guimaraes has a Spanish passport and a release clause set at £34.5m attracting Chelsea scouts in recent games as they consider a move for him.
Chelsea will on Thursday again appeal against their transfer ban which is the only way to prove whether they have further joy by taking their case to the Court of Arbitration.
Sarri’s side had hoped to strengthen in a number of areas, while they are also continuing negotiations with Real Madrid over the proposed sale of Eden Hazard who are already making an offera round £70m as against their £100m demand for the Belgian.
