Manchester United manager, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be looking to boost the squad with new fighters as the club’s chiefs set to hand him £200m for summer shopping, an amount considered as the club’s biggest transfer kitty ever.
Ole Gunnar wants to return Manchester United back to the deserving title contenders and that has to do with bringing in top players throughout his squad if he must achieve such.
Ole is already alert he must blend youth with experience in order to build for the future while also closing the gap to Liverpool and Manchester City in the short term ahead of next Champions League campaign.
Jadon Sancho, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Declan Rice and Aaron Wan-Bissaka are all targets in his list while he told United’s executive vice chairman Ed Woodward that he also needs players ready-made for the biggest stage, such as centre-back Kalidou Koulibaly and Raphael Varane .
Impressed with the job Solskjaer has done as manager reaching the Champions League quarter-finals and breaking back into top-four contention in the Premier League, United will be willing to give a listening ear to his biggest ever budget request.
Breaking down of the budget has it that Varane would cost around £68million if he agrees a move from Real Madrid , while Napoli’s Koulibaly would cost them around £60m.
Sancho is tagged around £80m, while midfield targets Bruno Fernandes and Saul Niguez would also set United back.
However, United will also release Antonio Valencia, Marcos Rojo and Matteo Darmian as well as Ander Herrera and Juan Mata following their contract expiration.
Reports also has it that Eric Bailly, Alexis Sanchez and Fred could also leave at the end of the season.
