Bayern Munich are reportedly considering a move for Manchester City midfielder, Ilkay Gundogan this summer.
Seeking to rejuvenate their squad ahead of next season, Bayern recently announced a completion of Lucas Hernandez deal from Atletico Madrid in the summer for €80m after confirming Benjamin Pavard will join from VfB Stuttgart.
With the defense now taken care of, the Bavarians have shifted attention to the attacking after CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge recently confirmed his club will be in for at least one winger in the summer market, while they could also add some striker.
However, a report from the Mirror (via Sky Germany), has it that Manchester City midfielder Ilkay Gundogan is latest on the hunt list to join.
Gundogan, 28 has refused to extend his stay at Etihad Stadium wher his contract expires next summer.
It’s hard believe Gundogan would really fit in at Bayern except as a backup to Thiago Alcantara.
However, it’s unlikely there is any real interest from the club anyway, according to reports.
