What Samuel Chukwueze said about playing for Nigeria

Villarreal winger and former Golden Eaglets star, Samuel Chukwueze, has said he is always happy when called up to play for his country Nigeria irrespective of the level.

Chukwueze who made his Super Eagles debut in Asaba last year November against Uganda was also called up to help the U-23 team, in their qualification bid for the 2020 Olympics and named in the team for the FIFA U-20 World Cup in Poland.

”I’m always happy to play for the country at any level whenever I’m called upon and hopefully when the season ends in May I can have a clearer picture of how things will unfold but for now I can’t give an actual date of my arrival,Samuel Chukwueze was quoted on NFF official website.

Nigerian’s Flying Eagles will face USA, Ukraine and 2022 World Cup host Qatar in Group D of the tournament.
