Liverpool’s new home kit for 2019-2020 has been launched.
Liverpool’s home kit for the 2019/20 season and have gone for a retro design as revealed by New Balance.
Launch of the new wears kit took place at 9am on Thursday after the Reds defeat Porto 4-1 on Wednesday night to progress to semi-finals.
Klopp’s team will Camp Nou to play Barcelona in a Champions League semi-final showdown and this is the kit they will be wearing next season.
The red, pinstriped kit is a throwback to Liverpool’s 1984 European Cup winning shirt.
The Brazilian international, Alisson also appears in the clip wearing the black goalkeeper jersey, with a gold trim.
Alisson is set to switch from his current No.13 to No.1 at the beginning of 2019-20.
The goalkeeper inherits the iconic number from fellow stopper Loris Karius, who is currently on a two-year loan with Besiktas.
This is the final home strip of New Balance’s current deal as Liverpool’s kit manufacturers, with rumors pointing to Nike as possible new deal takers though Liverpool is yet to draw curtains with the Boston-based sports company, who took over from Warrior in 2015.
A deal new worth of £45m per season to Liverpool, an amount which is expected to be dwarfed by the next contract , likely to be one of, if not the, biggest in English football history.
The American sports brand however, have proven to be popular suppliers among fans, with each of the last two home kits for the club.
