Chelsea has progressed into the Europa League semi-finals despite receiving a stunning scare from Slavia Prague.
A night of an entertaining clash in Europa League quarter-final second leg where the blues almost failed on their mission half way after leading at home team by 3-0 down.
Pedro gave Chelsea an early lead in the fifth minute before Simon Deli’s unfortunate own goal extended Chelsea’s advantage five minutes later and Olivier Giroud made it three in 17 minute before Tomas Soucek replied from the other end in the 26th minute.
Dramatic,Slavia did respond in the second half as two quickfire goals from Petr Sevcik (52 and 54) gave the Czech visitors hope of a comeback. But in the end Chelsea progressed on to take Frankfurt in the semi-finals.
