Real Valladolid on on Friday night  temporary escaped from the relegation zone after they a 2-2 draw that  earned them an equal share of point with Deportivo Alaves.

Real Valladolid were 2-0 down early when  Yoel made a couple of errors allowing John Guidetti and Jony score, but however fought back when Joaquin Fernandez header hit the net in the half-time before Enes Unal penalty in the second half.

Just two minutes into the game Yoel made a poor back pass and that was met by the onrushing Guidetti and bounced into the net.

The shot-stopper could have done much better at Alaves’ second, as he hesitated when Jony whipped a free-kick into the box towards his attackers and allowed the ball to fly all the way through the goal frame.

It seemed Alaves were in total control at that point, but the Pucela got one back before the half as Fernandez got the slightest of touches on an Oscar Planofreekick into the box and beat Fernando Pacheco.

Real Valladolid secured an equalizer in the second half with a quarter of an hour to go as Rodrigo Ely brought down Sergi Guardiola helping Unal convert a penalty kick to ensure they earn point.
