What Everton boss said after his side handed United a miserable 4-0 defeat.

Everton boss,Marco Silva has expressed satisfaction over his side’s dominance force to take down Manchester United with a stunning 4-0 win at Godison Park.

Goals from Richarlison and Gylfi Sigurdsson had the Toffees 2-0 up at the break before Lucas Digne’s sweetly struck effort and Theo Walcott’s cool finish completed a memorable disaster for the Red Red Devils.

Delighted with his side’s victory,Silva said it was a ‘show of big difference’ between his boys and the Red devils;

‘The big difference I saw this afternoon is we were more clinical and scored more goals. Since the first minute we were the best team on the pitch. We kept pressing and didn’t give them a chance to shoot on our target in the first half. We showed very good moments with quality, nice, good goals for our fans to enjoy.

‘Man Utd changed two players (at half-time), but we kept doing the same and every time we went for the attack we had a chance and a clean sheet is really important.

‘It’s normal in my teams, we don’t just have one player to score goals – I like to spread and my wingers can score, like Richarlison and Theo (Walcott) today. When a midfielder like Gylfi (Sigurdsson) can score goals we are giving a different option.

‘He just keeps doing what he is doing because he prepares during the week and the midfielders behind him help him. Gylfi and Richarlison are in a good fight and it’s important for us.

‘We proved our quality. We are on a fantastic run with clean sheets also. It’s fantastic for me to see our fans like this, the atmosphere and environment was fantastic.

‘Delighted with the players, it’s important to remind you what we did in the last four home games – we’re on a fantastic run.

‘Our last performance away was not good enough and we must show something different, we did. We were the best team on the pitch from the first to last minute.

“A clean sheet again is important and we keep fighting for what we want. When we won against Chelsea we were 26 games without a win against the top six, after we won I said every time we will change that and now we are playing with quality at home.

‘It’s important to see our fans enjoying what we are doing everything what I want as a manager. We are doing really well. Last seven games, five clean,the Everton boss said.
