How Sterling responded when asked about joining Arsenal.

Manchester City ace, Raheem Sterling’s response to Piers Morgan on question about joining Arsenal will leave you amused.

The play-maker was awarded the Integrity and Impact Award at the BT Sport Industry Awards 2019 after speaking out against racism in football.

And Gunners fan Morgan, who has previously been a vocal critic of Sterling, took to Twitter to congratulate him.

Morgan who is also a Good Morning Britain presenter posted;

“Congrats @sterling7. Your continued evolution as a footballer & a man of important cultural influence is very impressive.”

Sterling thanked Morgan for his congratulations, adding: “I’ve come a long way.”

But when Morgan went in again with “Haha, you have. But more power to you. Life’s about self-improvement & you’ve turned yourself into a brilliant role model on & off the pitch. “Now, since I’ve got your ear, how about joining Arsenal?”

These were Sterling’s words as he zoomed out;

“I’m running out of battery, sorry,” he posted, with three running emojis

The Ex-Liverpool man is enjoying the most prolific season of his career, matching his tally of 23 goals from last term with three Premier League games and the FA Cup final remaining.

Also has four goals in two appearances for England and is set to be a key man for Gareth Southgate in the Three Lions’ UEFA Nations League finals campaign in Portugal this summer.
