Manchester City have  decided not to let it slip off their hands from retaining their Premier League title after Sergio Aguero’s lone goal gave them a narrow win against Burnley at Turf Moor.

In the 64th-minute of the game Aguero scored a goal given via goal-line technology despite Matthew Lowton’s attempted clearance summed up much of City’s performance as Burnley continued to show stubbornness.

An addition was on the way when Gabriel Jesus had another effort kicked off the line by Ben Mee and City knew only victory would keep it off Liverpool.

City has successfully run a 12th unbeaten match with their heads up on the League title as they wait for the remaining two wins to celebrate.
