Ajax’s Donny van de Beek has said his said will have to finish what they have started next week when they host Tottenham in the second leg of their Champions League semi-final tie.
Van de Beek scored the only goal of the game that saw Ajax record away advantage against Premier League side on Tuesday night.
The young lad had taken a pass from Hakim Ziyech and gave it a fine finish past Spurs goalkeeper Lloris to give his Dutch side a lead.
Speaking on BT sport after the game, Donny van de Beek said it’s not over yet until they finish next week;
”The first 30 minutes we played really good. After that, Tottenham changed something tactical and we had problems. 1-0 is OK and next week we have to finish it.
”The beginning was good, but after that we played not what we can. We have to make a good plan for next week.
”We have to stay calm. I don’t know what they will do in the next game. We can do better and we have to watch for next week,he added.
