What United captain said after his side’s 1-1 draw against Huddersfield

Manchester United captain,Ashley Young speaking has reacted to his side’s inability to qualify for next season’s Champions League following a 1-1 draw against bottom placed Huddersfield town.

Speaking to BBC Match of the Day after the game,Young said they needed help from other teams as well to qualify;

 “We knew we needed other teams to help us but we need to help ourselves first and we didn’t do that. We’ve drawn, it feels like we’ve lost.

“They hit us with one long kick, its disappointing to concede any goal but especially like that.

“Manchester United should be about winning titles and trophies and it hasn’t been like that for a few years now. I’m sure Ole and his staff will go away and work on things for next season.”

When asked why the Red devils have struggled to survive since Sir Alex Ferguson retired,the United captain said : “I’m not sure why. I’m not sure anyone can put their finger on why it has gone so wrong. There could be a number of reasons.
