Liverpool has reportedly joined race to sign Arsenal long time target, Ismaila Sarr
Ismaila Sarr 21, has helped the French club reach the Europa League last 16, where they were beaten by Arsenal.
And reports from CalcioMercato claims Jurgen Klopp is keen on a summer move for the talented Senegalese star as they look to snatch his signature from the Gunners.
Unai Emery included him in his January list but he was forced to postpone a possible move until the summer due to their financial restrictions.
He is likely to be back in the market in the summer, but the draw of Liverpool means he faces a much harder task to convince Sarr to the Emirates.
Sadio Mane could have a big impact on a potential move to Liverpool as Sarr is offered the chance to link up with his Senegal team-mate.
He previously labelled Mane as a “role model” and admitted he’d love to follow in his footsteps.
”Sadio is a role model for me,” Sarr has said previously.
”He is a good player. He always advises me. Even on the bench, he told me to be ready to replace him.”
The 21-year-old considers making a move to the Premier League after his 11-goal Ligue 1 campaign as many clubs seek his signature.
