Manchester United are seen as leading the race to sign Swansea ace Daniel James.
The 21 year-old Daniel James, saw a deadline day move to Leeds collapse at the 11th hour in January when Swansea pulled out of the deal.
But has caught eyes of Premier League clubs including Manchester United and Liverpool racing to have his service.
However,United have registered their interest, making checks on how comfortable the versatile, lightning-quick attacker playing on the right flank, and James is aware they are keen on signing him.
According to Sportsmail some of United’s rivals for his signature are resigned to missing out, fearing he is Old Trafford-bound.
He has just a year left on his contract at the end of the season and is valued at around £10m.
Welsh have left him out of their final day draw at Blackburn to avoid injury ahead of an expected summer move.
James went viral when he scored a stunning solo goal that showcased his searing pace in an FA Cup tie against Brentford in February.
He further underlined his potential with the winner for Wales against Slovakia in March.
And Wales manager and former united man, Ryan Giggs said: ‘He’s a talent. When you’ve got that raw pace, you’re a threat at any level so as a winger, obviously for me playing as a winger, when I was younger, you then have to develop the other parts of your game which I feel he is doing.
‘He’s played up front as well which will help him because that you an appreciation of what you need to do, Giggs added.
