26-year-old Coutinho is in a delicate situation at the moment and Ousmane Dembele’s injury troubles have allowed him to regain the prominence he lacked earlier in the season when the Frenchman was in rich form, but he hasn’t been able to deliver consistently.
The fans are of the opinion that the player wasn’t worth the massive fee spent to sign him, and he aggravated them further with his silencing celebration after scoring against Manchester United.
And a local taxi driver explained to MARCA on Monday “He’s loved a lot, he’s a great man,
“I’m convinced he’ll be given a great reception.”
Luis Suarez’s return might be seen differently, however, despite him scoring 82 times in 118 Liverpool appearances. His celebration in the first leg rubbed many up the wrong way.
