Tottenham star man, Lucas Moura has commented on his hat-trick against Ajax that pushed spurs to their first Champions League final in the most dramatic fashion.
The Brazilian scored an injury-time winner which saw them bounced from 3-0 down on aggregate to win on away goals as they join Liverpool at the finals in June.
Moura scored all three goals in the space of 45 minutes and following wild celebrations at the final whistle, he struggled to sum up his emotions.
”It’s impossible to explain what I am feeling at this moment,’ he told BT Sport.
”I am very happy, very proud of my team-mates. We also believed it was possible and gave everything on the pitch. I think we deserved this moment, we are a family.
”It’s impossible to explain, I am so happy. It’s a big gift from God and I’d like to share it with my team-mates and fans.’
The Premier League side at half time looked done with after goals from Matthijs de Ligt and Hakim Ziyech put Ajax 2-0 up on the night at half-time.
But Moura scored twice in the first 15 minutes of the second period before he latched on to Dele Alli’s flick-on to fire Spurs into the final the last minute of the game.
”Everyone worked hard. It’s difficult to play here against Ajax but I always believed in my team-mates and their qualities, even without key players. I am really proud,’ he added.
”Football is amazing, it gives moments like this that we cannot imagine. We need to enjoy it. It’s the best moment in my career and I only need to say thank you to my team-mates because what I am living here at Tottenham is unbelievable,he added.
