Arsenal boss reacts after win over Valencia

Unai Emery is proud his men finished off what they started at Emirate Stadium last week against Valencia.

Arsenal took their 3-1 from the first leg of the Europa League against Valencia to a 7-3 on aggregate to secure a final spot this year.

And Arsenal manager Unai Emery while Speaking to BT Sport,praised his boys for fighting on to the finals.

“I am very proud of the players and the supporters. The players did all they could and we can be proud of the whole club.”

When asked about his past success in this tournament Emery said: “The past is for experience and can be used in the present.

”It is very difficult to play in finals and we took our opportunity today which we are happy about.

“We knew we had to be calm after they scored and we needed to control our emotions.

”It is very difficult to score four goals against this team because they are very organized.

”It gave us confidence to score quickly we know our strikers are taking chances,he added.

Arsenal will meet with Premier League rivals, Chelsea at Olympic Stadium in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan, for the 2019 Europa League final on May 29, 2019.
