United to treble Rashford’s salary to keep him out of Barca & Madrid links.
Manchester United are reportedly planning to treble Marcus Rashford’s salary to keep him out of Barcelona and Real Madrid’s links according to Daily Star.
Rashford appears uncertain about future at the club after they failed to qualify for next season’s Champions League, and has been linked with a move to Spain.
There has been speculations over the weekend claiming the striker had put talks over a new contract on hold as he has doubts over the direction the club is heading under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
His agent, brother Dwaine Maynard recently denied claims linking the forward with a move to Barcelona .
However, the club are prepared to treble his current £75,000-per-week pay to retain the 21 year-old who still has contract at Old Trafford until the end of next season.
