Ernesto Valverde after Copa del Rey final

Barcelona Manager, Ernesto Valverde,after his side fell to a 2-1 defeat to fourth placed Vanlencia in their Copa del Rey final on Saturday said he is fine and is in to ”win titles” and nothing else.

Barcelona has seen their hopes of winning a Treble thwarted this season, first was in their Champions League semi-final clash against Liverpool where they got knocked out by the Reds in the second leg with 4-0 lost at Anfield despite leading the first leg with 3-0.

And Valverde when asked about his chance of continuing with the club after recent results said;

”I feel fine. When you win, obviously you feel much better, much happier, but this is a different feeling to [Liverpool], even though we’ve lost again.

”We have not been able to fulfil the expectations that we’ve created throughout the season. A month ago, we celebrated the La Liga title thinking about winning a Treble and we’ve been knocked off that path at the decisive moment.

”We’re here to win trophies, nothing else”,he said after the Copa del Rey final.
