Manchester City and Manchester United are ready for a €60m bidding war to sign Juventus right-back Joao Cancelo this summer, according to reports.
Cancelo joined the Serie A champions from Valencia last summer at a cost of €40m after his loan spell with Inter Milan.
It had been reported the defender was on his way out because of the friction with Allegri, but the Coach has now been dismissed.
But Tuttosport newspaper claims Juve are still ready to sell the 24-year-old right-back and his destination would appear to be Manchester.
City and United are entering a bidding war, with the Premier League title holders the current favourites on €60m,Tuttosport said.
However, that will inevitably depend on whether Manchester City see their transfer activity blocked as part of an investigation into Financial Fair Play violations.
