Manchester City have reportedly entered race to sign Tottenham target Giovani Lo Celso from Real Betis star as David Silva replacement.
Lo Celso only joined Betis on a permanent deal from Paris Saint-Germain last month, having produced 16 goals for the club during the 2018/19 campaign on loan in La Liga.
But it is expected that the Andalucian outfit will cash in and make a substantial profit on the 12-time Argentina international over the summer.
MEN had reported that spurs have already made a bid of around £52 million to have his signature.
However, Guardiola is also said to have made a ‘personal request’ for Giovani, who he believes could replace 33-year-old club legend David Silva at the Etihad Stadium.
