Chelsea 4-1 Arsenal: Hazard ends Stamford Bridge stay with UEL trophy.

Arsenal’s awful record in European finals continues after falling to 4-1 defeat in the 2019 Europa League final to Chelsea in Baku even with the competition expert in Unai Emery.

Olivier Giroud gave the blues a lead just five minutes after the start of second half when Emerson hits an early, flat cross from the left and Giroud got across his defender to send in a flying, thumping header into the corner from about 12 yards out.

He doesn’t want to celebrate against his old club but sort of half does. My first instinct was that Petr Cech maybe should have done better but on second viewing that’s a brilliant header.

Then Pedro made it two before Eden Hazard made his double to ensure he walks out of Stamford Bridge with a UEL trophy as his farewell massage or call it a gift to the fans.

However, Alex Iwobi, did score a consolation goal who’s only just come on, lets it bounce about 22 yards out and then just nonchalantly sends a dipping shot into the far corner with the outside of his boot!
