Arsenal announces players that will leave, see full lists



Arsenal have released the list of players that will depart the club this summer.

The Gunners in an official statement thanked all the players and wished them well in their future endeavors.

”We thank them all for their contributions to the club and we wish them every future success”.

“You have to believe in yourself and you have to work with the right people,” he said. “There are so many people in football that can give you wrong advice, but you need to be strong and believe in yourself, your way and as well, you need to choose the people wisely.

“Once you make mistakes with wrong judgements, your career can go the wrong way. I was very fortunate actually, that the people I chose to work with were very honest with me and always found the best solution for my career.

“They have supported me ever since I was ready to sign the first the professional contract and this includes the family as well. They are the most important on your journey.”

Petr Cech may have achieved more than any other goalkeeper in Premier League history – but he always knew the importance of humility.

The former Czech Republic international sat down with Arsenal Media to reflect on his career – and said one of the biggest secrets is to earn the respect of those around you.

“If you are down to earth, you work hard for yourself and the team, then you are the guy who gives people confidence and people generally like you,” Cech said.

“It brings probably brings the most out of you and out of your team-mates. In the moment you need their help, people will actually help you. I think sometimes we underestimate that.

“In the moments when you career is going great and everybody is telling you how great you are, you need to keep your feet on the ground, actually keep working the same way and keeping working the same basics because this is the only way to be successful.

“As I said, the aim is to have people around you who will believe in you and trust you.”
