Senegalese forward, Sadio Mane has signed a new long-term deal with Liverpool FC that will extend his stay at Anfield til 2023
The 26 year old signed for a transfer deal with Liverpool FC in the summer of 2016 from Southampton at the fee of £34 million.
His initial deal had been due to expire in 2021 but talks over a new contract have reportedly been ongoing since the summer.
The club have now announced that he has signed a new deal that will see him stay at Anfield until 2023.
According to him, his excitement has grown over the new seal.
“I am very happy, very happy to extend my time at Liverpool,” Mane told the club’s website.
“It is a great day for me and now I am looking forward to everything – to helping the team, to helping the club achieve our dreams and, especially, to win trophies.”
