Marcos Llorente joins Atletico from Real Madrid on a 5-year deal.
Atletico Madrid and Real Madrid have agreed on a five-year contract for Marcos Llorente, pending medical tests.
The 24-year-old Spanish midfielder will complete his move to Atletico when he is done with medical examinations.
Born in Las Rozas (Madrid), he can play both as midfielder and defender.
Llorente made his debut during the 2016-17 season, and at only 21 years old he became the player who made the most recoveries during the season, with a total of 303 recoveries.
Also, the midfielder payed a major key helping Deportivo Alavés, reached the second place at the Copa del Rey. He debuted with the U21 national team during the 2017 Euro cup classification rounds where Spain beat Estonia to 5-0 for Albert Celades’ team.
Marcos Llorente has since then became regular in the U21 squad. He won the UEFA European Under-21 Championship with Spain in 2017.
