Alexandra Popp, Sara Daebritz and Lea Schueller combined efforts saw off the Super Falcons from the tournament.

But saw their hopes dashed out after Popp, won her 100th cap for the national team giving Germany a lead in the 20th minute before Daebritz extended.
The Super Falcons came out strong for the second half, thanks to the introduction of Rasheedat Ajibade, who was playing her first game at the senior Women’s World Cup.
But Nigeria started losing strength when a back pass caused by poor communication, saw Schueller take advantage of the situation to score the third giving the Super Falcons in total hopelessness.
