Gerrard confirms Nigerian midfielder currently on medical to join Rangers


Oluwaseyi Temitope Ayodele-AriboFormer Liverpool star, Steven Gerrard has said a Nigerian midfielder, Joseph Oluwaseyi Temitope Ayodele-Aribo is currently doing his medical to join Scottish club Rangers.

Ayodele-Aribo has been reportedly linked with a move to the Scottish Premiership side for several weeks now, and it looks like Gerrard is about to get his man.

Aribo missed out of Gers first-team squad for pre-season training over the weekend but Gerrard today told media that the signing target was closing in on finalizing his transfer to the Glasgow giants.

However, Rangers would only be required to pay a nominal development fee to Charlton, with the Express reporting the newly-promoted side are set to receive just £250,000 for one of their most promising players

The 22-year looks set to become Rangers’ seventh signing of the summer.
