Manchester United are reportedly getting in touch with Sporting Lisbon midfielder Bruno Fernandes agent over a potential signing of the Portuguese.
The 24-year-old impressed last season scoring 32 goals and 18 assists from 53 matches in attracting interest from Manchester City and rival United.
But now a media outlet in Portugal O Jogo, via talkSPORT,claims Fernandes’s agent, Miguel Pinho,was in London on Wednesday to discuss a mega-money move to Old Trafford.
United just landed their second signing, Crystal Palace defender Aaron Wan-Bissaka after Daniel James from Swansea joined earlier on.
Solskjaer’s has had a shake following Pogba flirting with Real Madrid and Juventus, and after scoring 16 goals last term his departure would leave a creative and goal-scoring hole at the heart of United’s midfield.
However Fernandes, despite being courted by Atletico Madrid is believed to join the Manchester Club soon.
